Each year Masai Mara plays host to the world’s greatest natural spectacle, the Great Wildebeest Migration from the Serengeti. From July to October, the promise of rain and fresh life giving grass in the north brings more than 1.3 million Wildebeest together into a single massive herd. They pour across the border into the Mara, making a spectacular entrance in a surging column of life that stretches from horizon to horizon. Safari Itinerary
Day 1 : Nairobi Masai Mara
We will pick you up from your hotel at 0800 hrs.Safari briefing by our professional Guides.
After briefing we start our safari via the scenic Great Rift Valley,a stop over at the view point to see this great depression ,we continue with our safari to the Mara Reserve arriving in good time for lunch. Afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge.
Day 2 : Masai Mara
Breakfast at the Lodge .Full day is spent exploring the park in search of the Big 5.
The Masai Mara Game Reserve is arguably Kenya's most popular game sanctuary. It is the most famous and most visited game reserve in Kenya. The film Out of Africa was made to a great extent in this reserve. Virtually every type of wildlife can be seen at the Mara. A spectacle worth seeing is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest, zebra and gazelle from Serengeti plains across the Tanzania border and the Mara River to reach Masai Mara grazing fields from late June. The dramatic crossing of the river and the preying on the migrants by predators can be viewed from early July to August. The reserve abounds with birdlife since close to about 452 species have been recorded. You have the option of taking a Hot air balloon in this park.Dinner and overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge
Day 3 :Masai Mara Nairobi
Early Morning game drive.Breakfast at the Lodge, then drive to Nairobi via Narok.Lunch is own arrangement .(Option of Lunch at our famous Carnivore Restaurant,Option of shopping ,a visit to Karen Blixen,Giraffe Centre ,museum )
Transfer to the Airport for your flight back home.
